About me

My life has taken me through many worlds—through war and peace, elite sports and academia, politics and business, entrepreneurship and consulting, religion and psychology, music and art, friendship and family. I have loved, suffered, learned, and created—and I have never ceased to think.
Through my philosophy, I dedicate myself to making complex reality accessible, to engaging in meaningful dialogue with others, and to opening new spaces for thought and action. I do not believe in quick answers, but I do believe in good questions—and in the human will to live and to shape the world.
The world will still be here tomorrow. The only question is: with whose ideas and whose visions will it be filled?
A selection of my achievements, failures, education, experiences, awards, and positions can be found below:
Early Years and Athletic Career
1992–1995 – The war in Yugoslavia raged, which I experienced only indirectly in Belgrade, through economic hardship, the influx of refugees, and a generally aggressive-depressive atmosphere in the country. Around 1991 or 1992, I suffered a severe head injury in an accident and was hospitalized.
1993–1999 – Competitive diving in Belgrade, training with SK Vračar.
1997, 1998, 1999 – Champion in 1m and 3m diving in the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
1999 – Selected for the national team of the Republic of Serbia for the Olympic Games.
1996–1999 – Attended the acting school Vračar in Belgrade and performed at the National Theatre.
1999 – Fled to Germany during the NATO bombing of Serbia, interrupting both my athletic career and acting education (this interruption, combined with the experience of displacement, later proved deeply damaging to my inner life).
2000–2004 – Football and swimming training; awards in regional competitions; repeated injuries to the right foot.
2004–2005 – Exchange student in Colorado, USA (at the time, it was widely believed that the United States had initiated and led the NATO bombing of Serbia; I wanted to experience the country and its people firsthand. My conclusion then, later reinforced through further travel, was that people everywhere are fundamentally similar and largely do not wish for war—the problem of war originates in politics, or rather, wars are created by those engaged in political power).
2005 – Winner of the Lions Club speech competitions on the topic “What does patriotism mean to me?” at local, regional, and national levels.
2005–2007 – Transitioned from playing football to refereeing due to injuries, serving as a referee for VfB Stuttgart.
2006–2007 – Youth football coach at SKG Botnang.
2007 – Abitur (German university entrance qualification) at Schickhardt Gymnasium Stuttgart.

2008–2012 – President of OSSA; coordinator of annual general assemblies in Belgrade (winter and summer); establishment of 10 local chapters at major universities (Harvard, Princeton, Oxford, London, Sorbonne, Heidelberg, Tübingen, Bocconi, Shanghai, and Thessaloniki); organization of dozens of projects across chapters and in Serbia; participation in numerous national television programs and interviews in national newspapers.
2010 – Coordinator of a government project introducing internship programs for students in all ministries of the Republic of Serbia.
2010 – First intern in the history of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.

2011 – Coordinator of a project within the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to introduce internships in all embassies, consulates, and diplomatic missions.
2012 – Coordinator of a legislative reform project in the Serbian Parliament concerning the recognition (nostrification) of foreign diplomas.
2012 – Awarded “30 under 30” as one of the 30 most influential young individuals in the Republic of Serbia under the age of 30.
2013 – Appointed Honorary President of OSSA (during my time in the organization, I gained my first practical experiences in politics and encountered numerous personal challenges and setbacks. Nevertheless, I persisted, motivated by a desire—rooted in my early experiences of war—to foster constructive and positive human coexistence. I came to understand how difficult this is and that it represents one of the fundamental problems of human civilization since its inception).
