My speeches so far

London, Oxford, Belgrade, Thessaloniki, Madrid, Stuttgart… Over the course of my career, I have delivered approximately one hundred public lectures and facilitated around two hundred seminars. Many of these events, particularly in the years during and after my studies, were marked by a highly engaged and passionate style, attracting audiences of up to 500 participants in formal academic and cultural settings. My public speaking began in the United States, where I participated in a Lions Club competition on the theme “What patriotism means to me.” Winning at the local, regional, and national levels established the foundation of my trajectory as a speaker. Since then, I have addressed audiences at numerous universities and institutions worldwide, often engaging Serbian student communities abroad and fostering a sense of intellectual and civic responsibility. Memorable occasions include lectures at the University of Oxford, at the Zeitenlik military cemetery in Thessaloniki, and at the University of Belgrade, as well as events at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Palace of Serbia. These engagements frequently took place in the presence of representatives of government, the military, religious institutions, and a wide spectrum of professional and civic organizations. At one point, classical musicians gave me profound encouragement to share my voice more widely. In response, I held dozens of speeches and seminars for them, cultivating artistic dialogue and reflection. Among many memorable venues, I recall with special gratitude the magnificent New Castle in Stuttgart, where the resonance of music and thought created an atmosphere of rare inspiration. In later years, my focus shifted toward a more contemplative and dialogical approach. While continuing to lecture, I increasingly emphasized listening, observation, and shared inquiry. My studies in philosophy, as well as extended stays at the Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos, deepened this orientation. Seminars, in particular, became a central format for cultivating mutual learning rather than one-directional discourse. In 2025, I decided to expand my public engagement once again, in response to the growing challenges of our turbulent era. I initiated collaboration with a local higher education institution, where I now offer seminars in philosophy designed not only to convey knowledge, but to create spaces for reflective dialogue and community learning.
